Hilary is an experienced and passionate advocate
for building community by nurturing and celebrating
congregational song and the drama of worship.

“Hilary's leadership style is precisely what I try to communicate to our cantors and song leaders. She serves as 'animateur' as Fr. Joseph Gelineau would have stated it: one who breathes spirit into the singing community, much more than simply conducting them or giving them cues on when to sing.” — Fr. Jan Michael Joncas

Hilary Seraph Donaldson is a musician, worship leader, and writer from Toronto, Canada. She is a graduate of the Master of Sacred Music programme at Perkins School of Theology in Dallas, TX — where she majored in choral conducting — and a graduate student in Musicology at the University of Toronto. Hilary has been called upon as an enlivener and presenter at national and international conferences.
